Deborah Alm，Professor of Springfield College, Lectures in the University

On October 20^th, Deborah Alm , lifelong professor and doctoral tutor of Institute of health, sports and leisure ,Springfield College, is invited to our university. She gives a special lecture to faculty members and graduate students on the topic of American style sports writing The symposium was host by Wang Jian, director of Graduate School.

During the lecture, Deborah illustrates the history, concept and goal of Springfield College’s. And, she further explains language’s traits, syntax characteristics and writing features in physical education, athleticismand sports management, etc. She also invites some volunteers to discuss the topic.

This lecture plays an active role not only in broadening academic horizon, but also promoting the exchange relationship between two universities.
