During May 30 to June 2, the Sino-American Sports Cultural Communication Festival is successfully host by our university’s Sino-American sports culture communication center. As an important part of its annual activities, we invite experts in outdoor recreation and communicative group of Minnesota College, dance troupe of American Lake County Society and experts in English Writing Center to our university to do academic and cultural communication.

During the period,Jane. Knight,executive chairman,American OutdoorRecreation and Education Association, and Mitchell

Hoffman, director of outdoorsports ofMinnesotaCollege, give us two lectures on topics of “The Exploration, Risk and Organization of American outdoors sports” and “StudentsGuidance and Peer-review of outdoors sports in American University”. They have introduced their achievements of American outdoors sports in the past two decades. The 11-people group in American Lake County Society is divided into dance troupe and English writing group, representatively open dance-master classes and English writing workshop. Besides, 22-student group in Minnesota College visits our university’s Sino-American Sports Cultural Communication Center. Our center’s secretary Daniel Konold introduces basic situation of our center and addresses a speech on sports culture.

This successful activity provides an academic platform for Chinese and American scholars, andalso offers opportunities for students to learn and communicate,The Sino-American sports cultural communication centeris one of the most characteristic center and the first sports culture communication center jointly built by Chinese and American colleges, which aims to strengthen Sino-American sports cultural communication and academic cooperation.
